Corporate Identity and character development of TADA, a Manifesto for clarity about Data created by the Amsterdam Economic Board that offers guidelines on how our personal digital data should be used by companies and the government. All towards a more transparent and responsible digital city.

On the website tada.city citizens, companies and governmental entities can sign the manifesto and become part of the movement.

Corporate identity and packaging design for an organic, aluminium-free deodorant created in Berlin.

The starting point for this project was the brand's name - Fine - which in italian means "end". In addition, we wanted to create an honest product that was clear about what it does, and that looked elegant unlike most deodorants in the market. We treated the design of the label and logo as a dictionary definition, printed directly on a brown pharmacy glass jar. In addition, the first edition included a small wooden spatula and a cotton bag.

I’ve also designed the tube version as well as the Stick version, which was first introduced as a limited edition.

Design of issue #41 of berlin-based magazine Mono.Kultur.

The magazine features an interview with Meg Stuart, currently one of the most relevant contemporary dancers and choreographers.

With mono.kultur, Meg Stuart talked about her first physical memories, the healing power of dancing and the thrill of disorientation.

Following Meg Stuart’s interest in abundance and complexity, the design discards all notions of top or bottom, left or right, with text and images set in different and ever-changing directions. A magazine as a physical object that wants to be handled and turned. Reading as a dance.

Design and illustrations for a special edition dvd case/poster of the film The Crisis and Us, by Johan Kramer.

The film depicts a series of made up stories narrated on top of super 8 films that Johan made during a few years. The stories talk about the lives of the people who appear in the shot, unaware that they are being filmed, sometimes talking on the phone, smoking a cigarette, or doing whatever they are doing. They are all connected in a way or the other with the idea of Crisis.

I was invited by the Art Directors Club Netherlands to create a piece to be featured as a cover of the Yearbook of Advertising and Design, together with other 11 creatives from different fields.

I decided to create a handmade sculpture with acrylic painted textured paper and wood as a visual representation of the motto “What you nurture grows”, a reminder to keep things close to our hearts, to be spontaneous, work with our hands and to keep things simple.

Art directed by Marcel Kampman who also wrote about it on Medium.

Book design and illustration for a unique elderly holiday home in the Netherlands with a very sweet approach and attention to the needs of the third age.

The idea was to create a clear parallel between the holidays of a younger person and an older one. At Strandgoed, they are not so different after all.

Creative direction by Marcel Kampman

Johan Kramer and his daughter Lila Shu (11 yr old) worked together on a special personal project. They visited her 10 favourite children's book writers in holland, interviewed (she did) and photographed them in their work spaces (he did). 

Interviews and photos were brought together in a small book filled with tips on how to write well, and what snacks to eat when writing, illustrations and Lila's handwritten comments about the visits (she mentions for example that one of the writer's dog farted a lot). 

Johan's portraits were exhibited at the Kunsthal Rotterdam surrounded by a handwritten mural telling the story of the project.
