SO MANY IDEAS, SO LITTLE TIME

I have always been a problem solver and never been interested in specialising in anything in particular.
There is just so much I would like to do and it doesn’t always fit the standard creative categories.
Here are some projects, experiments, failures and milestones.

If you have a book, exhibition, workshop or any other project in mind for which you think I would be perfect, say hi!

Nico Book

When I became a mother I obsessively documented what it was like getting to know my newborn son. This book is the result.
Fun fact: newborn poop is that exact shade of yellow.

IMAGINA COM PLASTICINA

My first Published book was an open play interactive hard book for kids. the book Included Play-doh and simple ideas as a starting point for children to create without too much pressure to achieve any specific form.

JOPIE DE DUIF

How I found myself designing a pigeon suit with dutch director Johan Kramer is a mystery. It was produced in Japan by KIGURUMI, Mascot suit experts, and it’s been hiding ever since it touched Dutch ground.

RITUALS WORKSHOP

I was invited to design with a workshop for the ELLIPSIS Open School. We discussed the importance and origins of rituals such as making wishes when finding Eyelashes and created our own site specific rituals as well as our version of Worrying dolls, as a physical memory of our collective experience during that time and place.

DRAWN TO DANCE WORKSHOP

For the second edition of Ellipsis Open School I designed a workshop that explored the idea of drawing as movement and dance. Through a series of exercises that were meant to create limitations and shut down the need to think about making a beautiful image, we danced, we drew, we let go of fear of expressing ourselves as moving bodies.

The end result of the workshop was a small exhibition.
